Due to the growing concerns over the COVID-19 virus, we are taking extra precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our patients, our team and our community. Per the mandate by the Governor of Virginia, we are postponing any non-emergent care for the next 30 days, March 27- April 27.
We are currently only providing emergency dental treatment for patients of record. Emergencies include pain, swelling or instances of trauma. Any appointments for non-essential treatment, including hygiene appointments, will be rescheduled after April 27. You DO NOT need to call to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Our office will be in contact with you later.
Since we are taking the precautions recommended by the Virginia Dental Association and Center for Disease Control you may be asked to communicate your emergency via phone or computer prior to being seen in our office. Dr Mueller can be contacted at 804-938-6076 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
If your appointment is for emergency treatment, please know that we are taking additional safety measures to protect you during your visit. We have reinforced our already comprehensive Infection Control procedures with our team members. We will be updating patient visit protocol including pre-visit temperature checks and a patient survey to assess your risk of exposure to COVID-19. If you must bring a guest with you to your emergency appointment, we respectfully ask them to remain outside the practice during your appointment. Exceptions will be made for patients needing assistance. In these cases, each patient will be limited to one guest.
